IntelliTape
The IntelliTape is the spreadsheet-like object on the right side of the ActiCalc window

As you enter calculations, ActiCalc structures these entries into the IntelliTape. Numbers you type are placed into the Entry column. The functions and operators (+, - *, etc) are placed into the Op column. If you enter comments using the IntelliDoc feature, they end up in the Comment column. Row numbers and the running balance are automatically placed into the Row and Balance columns respectively.
Beginning users may have no need or desire to do anything other than look at the IntelliTape. Indeed, the ability to visually verify your calculations is a powerful time-saver and quality-improver. But before long, you will wish you had the ability to modify the tape in order to correct errors and extend your calculation sequences. ActiCalc provides many convenient ways to modify the IntelliTape:
Managing the main window
Moving the cursor
Modifying entries and comments
Inserting lines
Undoing recent entries
Deleting lines
