Financial Functions
(This is a premium feature)
ActiCalc provides the 5 primary financial functions. By combining these functions on the tape, you can solve a wide variety of financial problems, including mortgage interest, ROI, loan amortization, retirement projection, and many others.
Like all ActiCalc functions, the financial calculations are easy to learn and use. To bring the finance functions pane into view, simple click on the "Fin" tab in the advanced functions section at the lower left of the ActiCalc window. You should see a selection like the picture below. Click on the various regions of the picture to see details.
With the current release of ActiCalc, all financial calculations assume payments are applied and interest calculated at the end of the period.
The sign (+, -) of each financial register is very important. For some case studies, see financial examples.
