Premium Features


ActiCalc is both a freeware and shareware program.  You can download the program from many shareware index sites and immediately use all of its basic features.  As you become familiar with ActiCalc, you will want to take advantage of the premium features that are available to registered users.  The premium features include:
  • Print tapes, so that you can document your calculations.
  • Save and restore tapes, allowing you to repeat these calculation sequences in the future with a minimum of effort.
  • Unlimited number of rows in the IntelliTape.  The BASIC version permits a limited number of rows.
  • Export of the ActiCalc tape to Excel97.  When you use this feature, your work is automatically  transferred directly into a newly-created Excel97 worksheet.  The resulting worksheet maintains all the relationships that are contained in the ActiCalc tape.  All calculation functions are translated to their EXCEL equivalents.  Even the memory and financial registers are emulated in the EXCEL worksheet.
  • Export of the ActiCalc tape to Word97.  When you use this feature, your work is automatically  transferred directly into a table added to a newly-created Word document.  The information from the ActiCalc tape is transferred to the Word table as simple text, allowing you to use normal Word functions to enhance its appearance.
  • Move the cursor location to any point on the tape.  From there, any additional keystrokes are inserted at that point in the tape
  • Insert File function adds saved calculations to the current tape.  If you already have entries on the tape, this function merges the saved calculations with the current ones.
  • Drag and drop a saved tape file into ActiCalc using Explorer or an equivalent file manager.
  • Powerful, intuitive financial functions based on the five common financial parameters, present value, future value, periods, interest rate, and payment value.  Supply any four to derive the fifth.
  • Multiple tape files can be saved on disk, and you can quickly navigate back and forth through these saved tapes with a single mouse click.
