ActiCalc
is an easy-to-use general-purpose
desktop calculator. Unlike most calculator programs, it provides a
visual
calculation "tape" that records all calculations and permits entries to
be updated. This tape is tightly integrated with Microsoft Excel to
permit
simple calculation sequences to seamlessly evolve into complex
spreadsheets.
For simple tasks, this is the easiest, quickest way to build Excel

| Vista support statement: ActiCalc currently runs in Windows 98, Windows 2000, and Windows XP environments. ActiCalc does not currently work in the Vista operating system. We are evaluating plans for Vista support, but cannot commit to Vista support at this time. |
Installation is quick and easy. Once the download is complete, UNZIP the file to a temporary folder. Run the setup.exe program and follow the directions. If you are unfamiliar with this, please see detailed instructions.
