MP3 Capable Media Player

In order to play the sound clips, your must have an adequate media player installed on your computer. For the Windows platform, the two most popular media players are WinAmp (Nullsoft Corporation) and Windows Media Player (Microsoft). You can download the WinAmp software by visiting www.winamp.com.

If you are running Microsoft Windows 98 or later, you can install the latest version of Windows Media Player by using the Windows Update feature. You should find this option on your Start bar. If you are not already connected to the internet, first make that connection, then select Start-Windows Update.

This will launch your web browse and connect to the Microsoft Windows Update site. Soon you should see a screen that includes the following:

Click on Product Updates. Eventually you should see a list of software updates available for your computer. Scroll down the list to find Windows Media Player.

Check the box. Return to the top of the web page and press the download button. Follow the instructions to install this software component. The process will probably end up rebooting your computer to complete the software installation. Af that, you can return to this web site to listen to the sound clips.
